The Society of Home Office Swappers is different in many ways from “other” home exchange websites. All Urban Crabs have 2 things in common: they live in a European capital or other big city and they are hybrid or remote workers. But what makes us most different we think is our strong community.
Much of our time will be invested into getting to know our members and learning from them. Just like we did we did at Spotted by Locals, we as founders will speak to all potential members before they join. And of course we will swap our ass off and travel around to meet as many members of our community as possible!
Naturally, we’re going to make it really easy for Urban Crabs who are visiting a city, to meet up with their fellow members who live in that city. We also want to (help) organise co-working sessions.
But also when you can’t meet up in real time, we want you to be able to get in touch with fellow members whenever you want. When you become a member, you will also be able to join our Discord channel, where you’ll be able to:
- Meet members in the city where you live, or where you’re swapping.
- Organise co-working sessions and other events, online as well as offline
- Ask questions and hang out online
